Requirements
Two years’ experience in a health/medical related environment.
Experience maintaining a records management system and hard-copy files.
Switchboard/receptionist experience.
Experience in recording and preparing minutes and agendas.
Completion of a high school or equivalent program of studies; formal training in applied office skills is required along with an understanding of medical terminology.
Ability to understand somewhat complex situations, determine courses of action and respond in a professional manner.
Word processing and excellent typing and proof-reading skills required (40 wpm).
Proficiency in Microsoft, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Email, Databases.
Ability to function in a fast-paced environment and work under pressure to meet deadlines.
Ability to prioritize and independently complete a variety of administrative duties demonstrating: Excellent problem-solving skills.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
