About the role

  • Senior Director leading Generics Sales and Customer Engagement for Teva Pharmaceuticals. Overseeing a team of ~50 and driving customer engagement across Canada.

Responsibilities

  • Define strategy, develop and execute plans to grow retail generics sales, drive customer engagement, and optimize operations, including customer service, demand planning, and data analytics.
  • Work closely with internal functions to ensure alignment on strategies, objectives, and customer needs.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of approximately 50 people, focusing on national retail and key account sales groups while delivering essential business analytics and modernizing customer engagement models.
  • Set sales targets, monitor performance, and drive initiatives to generate revenue growth and ensure successful product launches.
  • Build strong customer relationships to expand business opportunities and maximize market demand.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree (MBA preferred)
  • 10+ years of sales leadership in pharmaceuticals (preferably generics), with strong knowledge of the Canadian retail pharmacy market
  • Progressive leadership experience managing functions in one or more relevant business areas (marketing, product management, customer service, supply chain, etc.)
  • Strong strategic and operational skills, with a proven ability to lead cross-functional sales teams and drive business success and innovation
  • Proven ability to lead large teams, manage budgets, and drive change
  • Up-to-date knowledge of current and emerging technology and data within the industry and understanding of its competitive implications
  • Excellent communication skills; bilingual in French and English preferred
  • Proficiency in English is required to communicate with clients, partners, and internal teams located outside of Quebec.
