About the role

  • Director of Sales and Customer Engagement at Teva, leading generics sales and customer engagement in Canada. Building relationships to maximize market demand and sales growth.

Responsibilities

  • Define strategy and develop and execute plans to increase retail sales of generics
  • Work closely with internal functions to ensure alignment on strategies, objectives and customer needs
  • Lead, mentor and develop a team of approximately 50 people
  • Set sales targets, monitor performance and drive initiatives to generate revenue growth
  • Build strong customer relationships to expand business opportunities and maximize market demand

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree (MBA preferred)
  • Minimum of 10 years of sales leadership experience in the pharmaceutical industry (ideally in generics)
  • Progressive leadership experience, including managing functions in one or more relevant business areas (marketing, product management, customer service, supply chain, etc.)
  • Strong strategic and operational skills
  • Demonstrated ability to lead large teams, manage budgets and drive change
  • Up-to-date knowledge of emerging technologies and data in the industry
  • Excellent communication skills; bilingualism preferred (French and English)
