About the role

  • Lifecycle Marketing Intern supporting FamilySearch's lifecycle marketing efforts through content creation and channel management. Collaborating with teams to enhance user engagement in genealogy.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the creation of content and the management of marketing communication channels such as email while working with multiple teams and stakeholders.
  • Perform quality assurance checks on all channels including email, notifications, mobile push, etc.
  • Work cross-functionally with other teams and stakeholders to gather content for marketing communications such as the email newsletter.
  • Develop lifecycle-focused plans to support division and organizational campaigns (such as “Light the World”).
  • Manage channel(s) including creation of content calendar, execution of sends, and performance reports.
  • Assist in collecting and reviewing user feedback.
  • Report on performance of campaigns, content, etc.
  • Write copy for marketing communications that clearly and concisely articulates a cohesive message across several channels including email, SMS, and notifications.

Requirements

  • Working towards or recently finished a bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or communication.
  • Education or work experience with marketing tools such as Braze
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills (able to communicate proactively and clearly with stakeholders)
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills
  • Self-disciplined, motivated, and eager to learn new skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and great organizational skills.
