About the role

  • Business Development Consultant at Advice Canada supporting insurance and financial advisors. Building strong relationships and delivering training to enhance sales strategies and client connections.

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with the advisor firms to identify sales and growth opportunities for DGDA.
  • Lead regular business reviews and provide tailored insights through data analysis and reporting.
  • Deliver training on sales strategies, industry trends, and digital tools to advisor firms and internal sales teams.
  • Coordinate onboarding and system training for new advisor firms in collaboration with head office teams.
  • Act as the go-to contact for tactical support, issue resolution, and escalation management.

Requirements

  • Post-secondary education or equivalent professional experience in insurance or financial services.
  • Minimum 3 years of progressive experience in the insurance and financial services industry.
  • Strong understanding of permanent life insurance concepts and industry best practices.
  • Bilingualism (fluent in Mandarin and English) required, as the position will regularly serve our clients with English and Mandarin-speaking needs. Cantonese asset.
