About the role

  • Property Manager overseeing daily operations at Blue Water Hospitality resorts. Ensuring guest satisfaction and team management in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Provide outstanding leadership to provide vision, set clear expectations, and motivate the team
  • Ensure the effective use of staffing and scheduling to ensure appropriate coverage and maximize labor efficiencies to meet operational demands
  • Actively champion and execute human resource management strategies related to payroll and benefits, onboarding and offboarding requirements, adherence to company policies, employment laws (federal and state), and various other state and federal compliance and regulatory guidelines
  • Work collaboratively with People Operations Partners to ensure the timely and appropriate execution of human resource matters
  • Train and motivate team members to deliver an exceptional guest or resident experience
  • Establish and ensure optimal property conditions, such as cleanliness, maintenance, and aesthetic appeal, and hold team members to high-quality controls
  • Resolve and address guest concerns, and complaints and seek opportunities for engagement with guests
  • Manage financial management through effective budget management and operational expense controls
  • Play a lead role in annual budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting and actively adhere to all corporate policies, procedures, and guidelines.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Hospitality Management, or another related field is preferred
  • In the absence of degree, a high school diploma or GED and the ability to read and write clearly and effectively is required
  • 2+ years of Property Management, Tourism or Hospitality Leadership experience
  • Experience with Property Management, Extended Stay Property or RV Campground Budgeting, Forecasting, and P&L experience
  • Effective use of computer software, sales tracking software, CRM tools, and social media
  • Effective oral and written communication skills with the ability to tailor communication appropriately to the audience
  • Prior experience managing payroll and the employee life cycle utilizing an automated system
  • Able to adapt quickly and lead others through change
  • Self-starter and independent worker while collaborating in a team environment
  • Event planning and execution are a plus
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and work assignments
  • Strategic thinker!
