About the role
- Lean Manager responsible for developing and implementing LEAN concepts in manufacturing sectors for BUTTING Group. Focus on increasing productivity and reducing lead times with specialized skills.
Responsibilities
- Develop and expand a LEAN concept in coordination with all business units
- Plan the introduction of LEAN and subsequently manage implementation with the goals of reducing lead times and inventory levels and sustainably increasing productivity in the manufacturing areas
- Identify, implement and monitor the effectiveness of continuous improvement (CIP/KVP) projects and measures (develop and collect effective KPIs and visualize them to engage employees and managers)
- Responsible for carrying out LEAN activities in the Piping Technology and piping and plant construction business units (production and administration)
- Plan and execute change management measures to involve employees and managers at all levels
Requirements
- University degree in a natural science or engineering discipline
- Deep and broad expert knowledge of LEAN topics (flow principle, takt time, leveling/smoothing, 5S, etc.), Kaizen, Six Sigma or comparable methods
- Several years of professional experience in LEAN and quality management with demonstrable success in implementing LEAN measures and increasing productivity
- Own leadership experience in manufacturing areas desirable
- Confident user of MS Office; SAP knowledge desirable
- Excellent communication skills as well as experience and proven success in change management
- Commitment, assertiveness and flexibility
- Independent and responsible way of working
- English skills (CEFR level B)
