About the role

  • Portfolio Manager managing and growing dealer client portfolios for Cox Automotive in Nashville East. Building relationships and optimizing credit use while mitigating risks.

Responsibilities

  • The Portfolio Manager manages and grows a portfolio of dealer clients across the Nashville East territory
  • Build and maintain relationships with clients
  • Optimize the portfolio through the clients’ use of the line of credit
  • Identify and mitigate pre-default account risk
  • Support post-default collections on defaulted accounts
  • Collect and analyze client financial information and various internal reports and dashboards to assess and monitor dealer performance
  • Collaborate and strategize with Risk and Recovery department with pre-default risk mitigation and post default collection efforts on defaulted accounts
  • Serve as a fiduciary for the company including identifying and reporting any material client or internal non-compliance with company policies

Requirements

  • BA/BS with 4+ years related experience in finance, client facing, customer service, B2B, account management and/or collections required
  • Candidate can also have a combination of a MS degree and 2+ years, or 8 years of experience in lieu of a degree.
  • Knowledge of the automotive industry (various sectors)
  • Knowledge of the finance industry (various sectors)
  • Proficiency of reading and analyzing financials, such as profit & loss, balance sheet, tax returns and bank statements preferred.
  • Strong financial acumen with working knowledge of key financial tools and terminology
  • Ability to identify risk indicators through data tools
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and in a remote environment
  • Valid driver’s license is required for this position.
