About the role

  • Account Specialist managing collections for delinquent accounts within the real estate sector. Collaboratively working with tenants, property managers, and generating receivables reports in Conshohocken, PA.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for all activities leading to the collection of accounts receivable that are delinquent
  • Utilize verbal and written communications with shopping center tenants
  • Work closely with property managers, leasing managers, retailers and accountants
  • Contact retail tenants on a daily basis for payment
  • Resolve delinquent payment issues
  • Send out default notices
  • Reconcile retail tenant accounts, write offs etc
  • Generate various receivables reports
  • Provide bad debt recommendations

Requirements

  • College degree preferred
  • Reconciling of accounts receivable
  • Requires 2+ yrs experience in real estate
  • Excellent computer skills
  • Above average experience with MS Office and Excel
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Solid time management skills with ability to prioritize and successfully balance multiple tasks and requests
  • Self starter; able to work with minimal direction in a high pressure environment
  • Effective interpersonal and organizational skills
  • Accounting and JD Edwards knowledge a plus
