About the role

  • Develop and execute Walmart and Sam’s Club account strategy to achieve sales, share, and profitability targets, including annual joint business planning and promotional calendars.
  • Manage customer relationships at the buyer and planner level, leading business reviews and securing support for initiatives.
  • Own financial performance for the account, including P&L management, forecasting, and trade spend optimization.
  • Analyze data and trends using Retail Link and syndicated sources to identify growth opportunities and improve execution.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, supply chain, finance, and category teams to deliver new product launches, promotions, and omni-channel programs.
  • Ensure operational excellence by maintaining compliance with Walmart requirements and company policies, while monitoring KPIs and implementing corrective actions as needed.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required; MBA preferred.
  • 5+ years of CPG account management or sales experience, with direct responsibility for large retail accounts.
  • Strong analytical, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Proficiency in Scintilla Charter, Retail Link, IRI/Nielsen, and Excel.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
