- Collaborate with business lines to ensure insider threat controls are tailored to specific operational needs.
- Provide oversight and challenge remediation efforts following insider-related incidents.
- Communicate findings and recommendations for executive leadership, supporting informed risk decision-making.
- Stay current on regulatory requirements and best practices related to insider threat management.
Requirements
- At least 10 years of experience in cybersecurity, risk management, or intelligence analysis with a focus on insider threat detection and response.
- Proven expertise in designing and operating insider threat programs within large, complex organizations.
- Strong background in behavioral analytics, digital forensics, and incident investigation.
- Experience collaborating with HR, legal, and compliance teams on sensitive investigations.
- Deep understanding of regulatory frameworks (e.g., NYDFS, DORA, NIS2, SEC rules) and industry best practices for insider risk management.
- Ability to clearly articulate technical risks and solutions to non-technical senior leadership.
- Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to translate complex risks into actionable insights for business and risk leaders.
- Financial services experience is welcome, but not critical.
