Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain custom Service Portals and Employee Centers within ServiceNow.
Build and configure custom widgets, pages, and components using HTML, CSS, AngularJS, Bootstrap, and JavaScript.
Implement and enhance catalog items, request forms, and workflows integrated into the Service Portal.
Translate business requirements and UI/UX designs into functional, engaging portal features.
Develop and support integrations with external systems using REST/SOAP APIs.
Write and maintain client‑side and server‑side scripts (JavaScript, Glide scripting).
Conduct unit testing, troubleshoot issues, and ensure smooth deployment of portal features.
Prepare technical documentation, design specifications, and user guides.
Collaborate with ServiceNow administrators, ITSM process owners, and business teams.
Requirements
2–5 years of experience in ServiceNow development, with at least 1–2 years in Service Portal development.
Strong knowledge of ServiceNow ITSM modules (Incident, Problem, Change, Request).
Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, AngularJS, Bootstrap.
Experience with REST/SOAP integrations.
Familiarity with Service Catalog, Flow Designer, and Workflow automation.
