About the role

  • Key Account Manager focusing on acquiring new customers in the DACH market for IAM solutions. Collaborating with teams to present and negotiate software solutions effectively.

Responsibilities

  • New Customer Acquisition: Independently identify, approach and acquire new customers in the DACH market.
  • Lead Management: Qualify leads generated through marketing and partner activities and proactively develop the market.
  • Consulting & Presentations: Analyze customer requirements, develop suitable solution concepts, and deliver product presentations (remote and on-site) together with our PreSales team.
  • Negotiation Management: Manage the entire sales cycle — from initial contact and proposal preparation to successful contract closure.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with PreSales, Marketing and Partner Management to ensure efficient market development.
  • Market Monitoring: Actively monitor market trends and competitors to identify new business opportunities.

Requirements

  • Several years of experience in B2B sales of software solutions, ideally in the area of Identity & Access Management (IAM) or IT security.
  • Proven track record in new customer acquisition — a hunter mentality with a strong sense for customer needs.
  • Ability to explain complex solutions clearly and understandably.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills in German and English.
  • Independent, structured working style with high self-motivation.
  • Willingness to travel for customer meetings and events.
