About the role

  • Executive Assistant managing operational foundation for a fast-scaling AI startup. Supporting CEO in scheduling, payroll, and compliance while aiming for growth into an Operations Manager or Chief of Staff role.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate CEO calendar and meetings
  • Process payroll and manage benefits administration
  • Set up new employees (Gmail, Slack, equipment, HR software)
  • Handle expense management (receipt uploads, vendor payments, subscriptions)
  • Manage business licenses and compliance filings
  • Material prep

Requirements

  • 2-4 years as an EA, operations coordinator, or office manager (startup experience strongly preferred)
  • You've handled payroll, benefits, or finance operations before
  • You build systems and processes, not just execute tasks
  • You're comfortable with ambiguity and can prioritize independently
  • Bonus: You've supported a founder through fundraising
