Responsibilities
Positioning and further development of the brands within the Bergzeit assortment
Analyze market trends and competitors
Participate in collection meetings to represent Bergzeit's interests
Responsible for budget allocation in special productions
Manage sales, margin and inventory development
Collaborate with merchandise, retail and marketing teams for strategic campaign planning
Optimize procurement and supplier management processes
Independently select products in the equipment/apparel/footwear categories
Requirements
Completed training as a retail specialist (Handelsfachwirt), a degree in business administration, or an equivalent qualification
Several years of experience in purchasing, category/brand or product management, ideally in the sports or outdoor sector
Strong negotiation skills and analytical thinking
A good sense for brand management and market trends
Excellent knowledge of MS Excel and PowerPoint
Ideally experience with BI tools and ERP systems
Confident and reliable communication with suppliers on an equal footing
Passion for KPIs and numbers as well as for mountain sports
High level of initiative, team spirit and strategic thinking
