About the role

  • Senior Account Manager I responsible for generating new business and managing existing clients in financing solutions for Canadian entrepreneurs. Focused on business development in Val-d'Or and Rouyn-Noranda.

Responsibilities

  • Meet with entrepreneurs, clients and prospects, discuss their business specifics and identify issues
  • Execute action plan aligned with Business Centre's objectives
  • Ensure growth and retention of current clients while acquiring new clients
  • Analyze, negotiate and present financing proposals exercising credit judgement
  • Network within local business community to develop relationships and obtain references

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in commerce or business administration
  • More than 3 years of relevant experience in commercial credit or in business analysis and development
  • Keen interest in entrepreneurship
  • Demonstrated ability in business development and delivering on objectives
  • Strong negotiation skills and focused on results
