About the role

  • Strategic Customer Vice President leading GPO contracting strategy for healthcare products at BD. Building relationships, negotiating contracts, and ensuring compliance and profitability.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for completing GPO contracting strategy for assigned products
  • Develop and manage business relationships with GPO executives
  • Lead contract negotiations for national and regional contracts
  • Ensure optimal pricing, rebates, fees, and terms

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required, graduate degree preferred
  • Minimum 10 years of progressively responsible sales leadership experience in health care
  • Experience working with national and regional GPOs
  • Strong knowledge of the US healthcare industry
  • Strong track record of business success
  • Demonstrated ability to negotiate complex sales agreements
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills
  • Proven ability to engage and build relationships with customers
  • Ability to travel 50% of the time
