About the role

  • Account Executive responsible for achieving sales in BD's retail pharmacy solutions. Building relationships and driving sales growth in assigned territory across multiple states.

Responsibilities

  • Achieving or exceeding sales quota in assigned territory
  • Developing new business opportunities and selling Parata portfolio of solutions into the retail and community pharmacy market
  • Developing and managing relationships with key decision makers and thought leaders
  • Collaborating with pharmacy owners and pharmacists to position Parata solutions effectively
  • Driving sales growth and exceeding quota

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required
  • 5-10 years successful medical equipment sales (capital is preferred)
  • Experience working with privately owned businesses or healthcare practices preferred
  • Strong prospecting skills with a hunter mentality required
  • Strong negotiation and contract negotiating skills
  • Ability to effectively manage the sales process from lead generation to contract negotiation and close
  • Solid understanding of the pharmacy industry preferred
  • Travel up to 75%
