About the role
- Finance Manager responsible for bridging accounting operations and FP&A at Bayan-Tech. Leading financial reporting, budgeting, and a small team of accountants in a multi-country context.
Responsibilities
- Act as the bridge between day-to-day accounting operations and FP&A
- Lead a small team of accountants
- Ensure accurate and timely financial records
- Support budgeting and forecasting processes
- Prepare management reports
- Supervise daily accounting activities (GL, AP, AR, bank reconciliations, fixed assets)
- Ensure accurate and timely month-end closing (accruals, deferrals, provisions)
- Review and approve reconciliations and journal entries prepared by the team
- Maintain proper documentation and internal control procedures
- Support the budget and forecast cycles with data collection, templates, and consolidations
- Prepare and analyze monthly management reports, including KPIs, variances, and trends
- Assist in building financial models for brands, services, and projects
- Work with the Head of Finance on ad-hoc analysis and business cases
- Prepare standard financial reports for management and stakeholders
- Assist with tax-related data preparation (VAT, withholding, income tax)
- Support external and internal audits by providing documentation and explanations
- Help maintain and improve the ERP/finance systems setup
- Propose and implement process improvements to reduce errors and manual work
- Contribute to automation of recurring reports (Excel/Sheets and BI tools)
- Supervise 2–4 team members (accountants / junior accountants)
- Provide on-the-job training, guidance, and performance feedback
- Ensure team adherence to deadlines and quality standards
Requirements
- 6–10 years of experience in accounting/finance
- At least 1–3 years in a senior accountant or team lead role
- Solid experience with GL, AP, AR, reconciliations, and month-end closing
- Exposure to planning, budgeting, or basic FP&A tasks (variance analysis, reporting)
- Experience in small or medium-sized companies, preferably in services/tech/localization
