About the role

  • Customer Service & Inside Sales Representative providing support for manufacturing products at BW Papersystems. Engaging in sales activities and ensuring customer satisfaction through technical expertise.

Responsibilities

  • Provide prompt responses to incoming inquiries
  • Offer light mechanical support by addressing questions related to machine features and functions
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve technical and logistical issues
  • Actively engage in sales activities, advising customers on product substitutions, upgrades, modifications, and identical replacement parts
  • Initiate outbound sales calls using prepared scripts and tailored questions for potential clients
  • Generate MAPICS quotes, maintain correspondence, provide order status updates, and complete quotes upon receipt of purchase orders
  • Participate in the return process, identifying root causes, or directing cases to the appropriate team when necessary
  • Identify new market opportunities, product enhancements, and adjacent service potentials

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent
  • 3+ years of customer service experience within a manufacturing or industrial related field
  • Ability to read and understand basic mechanical drawings, assembly drawings or blueprints
