About the role

  • Quality Assurance Specialist for Payroll Software supporting compliance with German regulations. Collaborating with product management and development to ensure accurate implementation of software functionalities.

Responsibilities

  • Be part of the Quality Assurance team and take responsibility for the functional validation of our payroll software
  • Work closely with product management and development
  • Evaluate legislative changes and derive concrete functional requirements
  • Create and execute functional test cases
  • Perform compliance and quality tests, including structured documentation
  • Assess risks arising from legal changes and define appropriate quality assurance measures
  • Support release and approval processes

Requirements

  • Several years of experience in payroll processing
  • Excellent knowledge of tax and social security law as well as payroll reporting
  • Confident interpretation of statutory requirements
  • Analytical, structured working style and strong quality awareness
  • Enjoy professional exchange and cross-functional collaboration
  • Nice to have: Experience testing payroll systems or working in project environments; basic technical understanding of software processes
