About the role

  • Account Manager enhancing business development for e-commerce firms in Germany. Building client relationships and driving sales strategies in a hybrid role based in Frankfurt.

Responsibilities

  • You are the primary point of contact for all customer account management matters.
  • You negotiate contracts and finalize agreements to maximize profitability.
  • You build trusted advisory relationships with key accounts, client representatives, and executives.
  • You ensure the timely and successful delivery of our solutions according to customer needs and objectives.
  • You forecast and track key metrics for major accounts (e.g., quarterly sales results and annual forecasts) and prepare account status reports.
  • You work with the sales team to identify and expand opportunities within the territory.
  • You assist with complex customer inquiries or escalate issues when necessary.
  • You maintain close relationships with partners, vendors, and suppliers where appropriate.
  • You stay informed about internal and external developments in the e-commerce landscape to build deep knowledge of sellers and the industry.
  • You supervise and support the work of junior members of the Business Development team.

Requirements

  • Experience in business development – minimum 5 years.
  • University degree – BSc/BA in Business Administration or a related field.
  • Excellent communication skills in German and English (spoken and written).
  • Strong communication skills in Turkish (spoken and written) are desirable.
  • Ability to engage with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Customer service skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
  • Organized, with a proven ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Confident, professional, and personable with a positive attitude.
