About the role

  • Associate Director leading HR technology operations and supervising scrum teams for effective delivery and innovation at AT&T. Focused on team leadership and strategic collaboration in a fast-evolving environment.

Responsibilities

  • Leads scrum masters & RTE who identify impediments (blockers) & work to remove them in order to progress and fostering software delivery & continuous improvement.
  • Oversees the execution of quarterly PI planning events, as well as ensures the execution of other SAFe agile ceremonies such as POPM sync, WSJF prioritization, retrospectives, and more.
  • Analyzes & reports on the end-to-end operations of the HR Technology department.
  • Identifies impediments, bottlenecks, and other issues & communicates them to peers & leadership.
  • Partners with leaders of delivery & product/project management teams to resolve impediments.
  • Oversees operational aspects of the department, focusing on the day-to-day management of related initiatives.
  • Responsible for influencing decisions regarding the hiring, firing, disciplinary action, promotional activity, and pay decisions for subordinates.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree (BS/BA) desired in Computer Science.
  • 5+ years of related experience.
