Responsibilities
Achieving or exceeding sales objectives in assigned territory
Creating and maintaining account-specific business plans
Developing and maintaining strong clinical, technical, and scientific knowledge
Collaborating with internal cross-functional stakeholders
Handling customer questions and objections
Educating on clinical approaches to specific disease states
Demonstrating proper use of products to clinicians
Leading patient-centric partnership model implementation
Utilizing CRM tools for time management
Executing local promotional activities and programs
Providing product expertise and customer service
Interacting with management to refine product and market initiatives
Adhering to company ethics and policies
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree
5 years pharmaceutical sales or equivalent experience (e.g., Biotech or Medical Device) or 5 years’ experience in a medical setting
Proven sales track record in Institutions and hospital systems
Ability to work independently and interdependently in a team-oriented environment
Strong clinical acumen and account-based selling skills
Ability to seek out and qualify leads and profile new accounts
Ability to gain consistent access & develop strong, professional relationships with healthcare providers
Effective verbal and written communication skills
Must live in the geographic territory or within 50 miles of the geographic territory border
Ability to travel within the territory including frequent overnight and weekend travel
Valid driver's license and clean driving record
