Responsibilities
Responsibility for taking over, managing and strategically developing an established key account portfolio
Building and maintaining long-term customer relationships at decision-maker and project levels
Identifying and developing new market and business opportunities
Planning and conducting customer visits, presentations and business meetings
Preparing proposals and leading the proposal process, as well as conducting contract and price negotiations
Close cooperation with Marketing, Project Management and internal specialist departments
Preparing monthly forecasts focusing on orders received, unit quantities, revenue and contribution margin
Representing the company at trade fairs and industry events
Regular CRM maintenance and reporting of sales activities
Supporting sales-related projects
Requirements
Degree or vocational training in business administration, sales or a comparable field
Several years of professional experience in sales and key account management, ideally in the rail or public transport (ÖPNV) sector
Strong sense for customer needs and a confident manner at decision-maker level
Excellent communication and negotiation skills
Structured, independent and goal-oriented working style
Confident user of MS Office and Microsoft Dynamics (CRM)
Very good German and English language skills, both written and spoken
Willingness to travel within Germany and occasionally internationally
