Key Account Manager handling strategic development of key accounts in the DACH region focusing on drugstore trade. Responsible for sales, budget, and results development with various teams.
Responsibilities
In this exciting role you will take strategic responsibility for managing and developing designated key accounts in the DACH region, with a clear focus on the drugstore retail channel.
At the same time, you will build relationships with new potential customers and actively grow the business.
You will have full responsibility for sales, budget and profit development on a contribution margin (CM) basis – including planning, steering and controlling investment and promotional budgets.
You prepare and confidently conduct annual review meetings.
Negotiating terms and assortments with retail partners at decision‑maker level is a core part of your responsibilities.
Together with Trade Marketing, Brand Management and Product Management, you will develop, manage and execute customer‑specific marketing, promotion and activation measures.
You drive strategic and operational assortment work – from listing new products and expanding existing categories to customer‑specific assortment optimization.
You plan initiatives and activities independently and implement them consistently.
Analyzing sales figures as well as market and competitive developments is part of your day‑to‑day work.
Based on customer‑specific KPIs, you analyze, interpret and present relevant metrics, derive concrete recommendations for action and ensure regular reporting.
In close coordination with Supply Chain, you take responsibility for sales and volume planning as well as ensuring product availability.
Requirements
You hold a university degree or equivalent vocational training with relevant professional experience.
Several years of professional experience in Key Account Management within the FMCG sector, ideally in Beauty, set you apart.
Strong analytical skills, particularly in analyzing sales figures, KPIs and market and competitive data, are among your strengths.
An independent, structured working style combined with strong execution skills convinces both internal stakeholders and our customers.
Very good knowledge of MS Excel and PowerPoint completes your profile.
