Responsibilities
Lead, coach, and develop Territory Sales Representatives (TSRs) to ensure strong territory coverage, pipeline health, and disciplined sales execution.
Drive new customer acquisition and local account growth across a broad range of industrial markets.
Develop and implement sales strategies that support diversification, local market penetration, and sustainable growth.
Partner with key suppliers to align growth initiatives, training, and joint customer development plans.
Participate in recruiting, interviewing, and onboarding of Territory Sales Representatives.
Own revenue growth, gross margin performance, and pipeline development for assigned markets.
Ensure full adoption and ongoing compliance with Applied’s CRM platform, including opportunity management, activity tracking, pipeline accuracy, and forecast integrity.
Maintain regular field presence with TSRs and customers to drive engagement and execution excellence.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related discipline preferred.
7+ years of industrial sales experience, ideally within MRO, OEM, or project-driven environments.
3+ years of sales leadership or management experience with direct reports.
Proven ability to drive local account growth, new customer acquisition, and margin improvement.
Strong communication skills across email, phone, and digital collaboration platforms.
Ability to operate effectively in a matrixed organization.
