About the role

  • Associate Manager overseeing projects and operations for gaming and esports IPs. Supporting execution, coordination, and event management in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Support end-to-end operations for gaming IPs, on-ground activations, tournaments, and creator-led events.
  • Assist in developing project plans, timelines, checklists, and operational workflows.
  • Coordinate with internal teams (production, marketing, finance, talent, and partnerships) to ensure alignment and timely execution.
  • Work closely with external vendors—production houses, event agencies, venue partners, broadcast teams, etc.
  • Oversee on-ground execution including setup, run-of-show, logistics, team coordination, and risk management.
  • Own project management workflows in Asana, including creating project boards, defining tasks and timelines, assigning responsibilities, tracking progress, maintaining documentation, and ensuring all teams follow structured PM processes.
  • Monitor project expenses, collect invoices, and support finance teams with budgeting inputs.
  • Lead and manage all facets of esports league operations including tournament rulesets, match scheduling, team logistics, player eligibility, contracts, dispute resolution, and compliance documentation.
  • Prepare progress updates, reports, and ensure clear communication across all stakeholders.
  • Travel as needed for events, shoots, tournaments, or operational setups.

Requirements

  • 3–5 years of experience in project management, event operations, esports, sports management, or content production.
  • Strong understanding or interest in the esports and gaming ecosystem in India.
  • Hands-on experience managing vendors and on-ground event operations.
  • Good knowledge of project management tools (Asana preferred).
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder coordination skills.
  • Ability to work in dynamic, high-energy environments and meet tight deadlines.
  • Willingness to travel and work weekends when necessary.
