National Account Manager responsible for managing national DIY accounts within the USA. Focused on plumbing and electrical product ranges while building strategic customer relationships.
Responsibilities
Handle Day-to-day primary Sales Contact.
Manage and grow the existing customer and prospect new opportunities.
Lead PLR’s (Product Line Reviews) and proposals in terms of strategy, assortments and pricing.
Collaborate with Sales and Customer Service, Marketing, Supply Chain and Manufacturing.
Assist US Retail Director in defining market/product growth opportunities and service infrastructure initiatives.
Collect market and competitor intelligence.
Develop sales budget, prepare/present customer business plans and reviews.
Grow strategic account plans for each area of account responsibility.
Learn and master in depth product knowledge and become the expert in this space
Ability to collaborate with demand planning and supply chain to develop forecasts for each area of account responsibility
Requirements
Bachelors degree in business or commerce or equivalent work experience
Minimum of 7 years of experience managing national DIY accounts and building supply dealers/hardware stores at the corporate level
Rough plumbing, electrical or other building product knowledge is an asset.
Management experience will be an asset
Experience with sales tools – CRM, etc.
Proficiency in MS Office, including Excel
Relationship builder, positive attitude, friendly, collaborative and responsive.
