  • Commodity Manager responsible for procurement strategies of key body components at Alexander Dennis. Focused on supplier relationships and cost management to enhance transportation sustainability.

Responsibilities

  • Develop best-in-class commodity strategies for procurement of key body components
  • Identify new sources of supply and negotiate terms
  • Manage supplier performance to improve costs and availability
  • Collaborate closely with design engineering teams

Requirements

  • Extensive experience in strategic sourcing and supplier relationship management
  • Excellent commercial acumen and negotiation skills
  • Ability to build strong relationships internally and externally
  • Strong planning and decision-making skills
  • Bonus if you have:
  • Graduate qualification in Engineering or Business discipline
  • MCIPS qualification
  • Experience in managing risk and driving cost improvement
