About the role

  • Account Manager selling Airgas products to business and industrial establishments while growing new business. Collaborating with product sales specialists to expand sales among existing customers.

Responsibilities

  • Market and sell company products to business and industrial establishments
  • Grow new business and maintain current accounts
  • Pursue and acquire new competitive accounts with emphasis on gases business
  • Work with product sales specialists to grow sales within territory
  • Act as liaison between customer and company regarding pricing, products, delivery, and inquiries
  • Lead the deployment of Organizational Solutions

Requirements

  • Associate’s Degree (AA or AS) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school
  • Two to five years related experience and/or training
  • Previous industry experience strongly preferred
  • Proven success using a consultative sales approach providing multiple layers of value to establish sales solutions and products
  • Proven success using deep knowledge of customer's business and industry trends
  • Excellent organizational, written and oral communication, and presentation skills
  • Self-starter, motivated, and able to work independently
  • Reliable transportation and current driver's license
  • Minimum of 3 years of outside business-to-business sales experience
