Responsibilities
- Act as a Subject Matter Specialist aligning welding engineering with operational excellence.
- Evaluate existing welding processes in internal field plants and external client sites.
- Identify bottlenecks and suggest advanced technologies.
- Conduct 'Weld Surveys' and 'Efficiency Analyses'.
- Support CNC cutting systems, robotic welding systems, and plasma/laser integration.
- Mentor the Welding Specialist team and provide training to customers.
- Coordinate installation and servicing of automation projects.
- Collect and report on market trends and customer needs.
Requirements
- Reliable transportation, current driver's license, minimum liability insurance.
- 4+ years of experience within the welding or industrial industry.
- Welding Engineering Degree or equivalent experience.
- Exposure to technical sales or a consultative background is welcomed.
- Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) membership within relevant organizations is highly desirable.
