About the role

  • Key Account Manager managing existing and new customer relationships in the tourism sector. Implementing sales strategies in collaboration with different teams in a full-time role.

Responsibilities

  • Field-based role with travel requirements
  • Relationship management and personal account management of our existing customers
  • Acquisition of new customers
  • Onboarding new customers in collaboration with managers
  • Process & quality sales, upselling and cross-selling of AER products and airline products
  • Increasing revenue and improving results at the customer level
  • Enhancing customer satisfaction and optimizing quality
  • Customer training
  • Close collaboration with the Commercial Support Team (inside sales), Operations, Marketing, Product, Finance and other company departments
  • Preparing commercial materials in cooperation with Marketing
  • Ongoing reporting of customer activities in the CRM
  • Participation in projects
  • Attendance at customer events
  • Reports to the Senior Manager, Commercial

Requirements

  • Completed vocational training as a travel agent or tourism clerk
  • Several years of sales experience in the tourism or airline industry
  • Strong service and results orientation
  • Independent, structured and responsible way of working
  • Confident presence and strong presentation skills
  • Experience working on projects
  • Excellent Microsoft skills in Excel, Word and PowerPoint
  • Strong ability to communicate and document complex matters clearly to internal and external stakeholders
  • High level of initiative; ability to work in a focused and prioritized way
  • Good English skills and willingness to travel
