About the role

  • Area manager overseeing teams in energy supply across different resource networks. Ensuring compliance and operational effectiveness in utility services with a focus on regional development.

Responsibilities

  • Provide technical leadership to employees assigned to the respective project
  • Ensure compliant operation and expansion of utility networks across all disciplines
  • Maintain oversight of workflows in low voltage, medium voltage, transformer stations, broadband cables, fiber-optic (optical fiber), telecommunications cables, as well as gas and water networks of all pressure levels and sizes
  • Develop customized network connection concepts, process inquiries, and prepare cost estimates
  • Negotiate with external stakeholders and manage customer relations
  • Ensure compliance with applicable laws, technical regulations, and company policies
  • Coordinate fault remediation and restoration measures
  • Brief service providers on task execution
  • Review invoices and process billing for construction and maintenance activities
  • Contribute to the preparation of investment and maintenance plans
  • Participate in on-call duty

Requirements

  • Completed vocational training in electrical engineering or utility engineering with relevant additional qualification (e.g., master craftsman, technician) or a completed (technical) college/university degree in a related field
  • Several years of professional and leadership experience in construction, assembly, operation, and maintenance of utility installations and networks
  • Good IT skills (e.g., SAP, GIS/GS, MS Office)
  • Strong sense of responsibility, ability to work independently, organizational skills, and team and communication skills
  • High resilience and flexibility
  • Driver's license class B (car)
