About the role

  • HRIS Analyst managing Workday configurations and system support tasks for AEP's HRIS needs. Collaborating across teams, ensuring data integrity and compliance with regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Configure and customize Workday to align with the organization’s evolving needs and business requirements.
  • Identify enhancement opportunities and assess impacts on downstream systems.
  • Evaluate, build, and maintain various Workday modules.
  • Support ad-hoc reporting requests across the organization.
  • Manage a diverse and fluid workload commonly including multiple assignments and variable deadlines.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business, or Human Resources; Or Associate’s degree; Or HS diploma/GED with 7 years of relevant work experience.
  • 4 years minimum, 5+ years preferred experience with Workday application support, process configuration, HR data maintenance.
  • Ideally HR Business Process acumen in 2-3 HR functional areas (Core HCM, Recruiting, Payroll, T&L, Compensation, or Learning).
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and prioritization skills.
  • Workday Pro certification(s) preferred.
  • Nice-to-have: Integrations experience. Reporting tools (EIB, BIRT/Calculated Fields). Data privacy/compliance knowledge.
