About the role

  • HR Manager overseeing HR activities at Peabody's Coppabella Moorvale Joint Venture operations. Partnering with leadership to enhance employee engagement and organizational development in mining.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for leading the full spectrum of HR activities across the CMJV operation
  • Partner closely with the Site Leadership Team to foster a strong culture of direct engagement
  • Provide expert advice and support across industrial and employee relations, performance management, employee engagement and retention, workforce planning and recruitment, diversity and inclusion initiatives, cultural change, organisational development, and HR metrics and reporting
  • Develop and coach site leaders, supporting supervisors and managers to strengthen people leadership capability

Requirements

  • Relevant tertiary qualification in Human Resources, Business, Psychology or a related discipline
  • Extensive experience in a site-based HR generalist or HR Manager role, ideally within mining, heavy industry or a similar operational environment
  • Demonstrated capability across IR/ER, workforce planning, performance management, recruitment, organisational development and HR reporting
  • Proven success leading or influencing cultural change
  • Strong communication, interpersonal and influencing skills
  • Well-developed planning, organisation and stakeholder management capability
