About the role

  • HR Generalist supporting recruitment and onboarding processes for Homesura, Inc. aiming to transform community-based care systems in Minnesota.

Responsibilities

  • Supporting the full employee lifecycle with primary ownership of recruitment, hiring coordination, and onboarding
  • Partnering closely with hiring managers, candidates, and cross functional teams to ensure an efficient, high quality, and inclusive hiring experience
  • Managing open requisitions, sourcing qualified candidates, screening applicants, coordinating interviews, and guiding candidates through the hiring process with professionalism and care
  • Overseeing all onboarding activities—offer letters, background checks, new hire documentation, system setup, and Day 1 readiness—to ensure every new hire has a smooth, well organized transition into the organization
  • Providing general HR support in areas such as employee record management, policy guidance, HR compliance, and continuous process improvement

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in HR, recruitment, or talent acquisition
  • 4-year college degree in Human Resources, Business or similar
  • Experience managing full cycle recruitment and hiring
  • Professional HR Certification such as PHR or SHRM-CP a plus
  • Strong knowledge of employment practices, recruiting processes, and onboarding workflows
  • Proficiency with ATS platforms, HRIS systems, and Microsoft Office/Teams
  • Paylocity experience a plus
  • High attention to detail, accuracy, and follow through
  • Effective verbal and written skills, and the demonstrated ability to communicate concepts both in-person, over the phone, and in electronic communication
  • Well-developed interpersonal skills along with excellent organizational, critical thinking, creativity, proactive problem solving, and communication
  • Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality
  • Familiarity with state and federal employment laws and compliance
  • Experience supporting HR initiatives such as training, engagement, or HR operations
  • Must pass a background study with the Minnesota Department of Human Services
  • Must be able to work independently, manage multiple projects efficiently, and meet deadlines
  • Must have excellent professional, ethical and confidential behavior and skills at all times
