Act as a secondary point of contact for clients, ensuring their needs are effectively communicated and addressed.
Collaborate closely with the Account Director to support the growth of client relationships and revenues.
Develop a deep understanding of client’s business dynamics, strategies, and objectives.
Assist the Account Director in identifying new service opportunities and developing actionable plans for client growth.
Contribute to the formulation of scopes of work (SOW) and account reviews, ensuring alignment with client objectives and agency resources.
Engage actively in client communications, gradually taking on more responsibilities based on skill level and aptitude.
Facilitate communication between the agency's departments, ensuring smooth project execution and drawing upon the expertise available.
Participate in weekly/bi-weekly team meetings and one-on-ones, as directed by the Account Director.
Work alongside the Account Director in coaching and training marketing team members, offering regular feedback and identifying areas for growth.
Assist in the interview process for potential team members and partake in discussions on team structure and development.
Monitor client deliverables, ensuring the quality meets agency standards and client expectations.
Actively participate in the billing processes, assisting with budget management and profitability assessments.
Proactively identify potential challenges or red flags in projects and strategize solutions alongside the Account Director.
Participate actively in internal training sessions and workshops, aiming to acquire the skills necessary for a transition to the Account Director role.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or related field
Experience in a client-facing role (2+ years preferred)
Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving
