About the role
- Provide innovative best practices for transportation processes and systems (SAP, LLP, etc.) and act as an SME supporting the Global Business Process Owner for Transportation and Shipping solutions.
- Oversee EU transportation and export shipments: plan, organize and monitor the transportation of intermediate and finished products.
- Manage projects related to transportation and shipments.
- Implement strategic initiatives across all plants, OpUs and LOCs to optimize transportation spend and achieve targets.
- Support internal and external quality audits.
Requirements
- Strong knowledge of logistics and distribution
- Experience in project management
- Skills in automation and KPI management
- Experience with SAP preferred
- Previous experience with logistics and transportation processes
- Ability to work across functions and with global quality teams and business partners
- Strong decision-making skills and ability to develop creative solutions
- Excellent written and spoken communication skills in German and English
