Responsibilities
- Define & manage project scope, objectives, deliverables and develop project plans, resource requirements, timelines
- Manage cross-functional delivery teams including solution architects, developers, analysts, testers, and change managers
- Apply structured methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall, or Hybrid) to manage timelines, risk, quality, and dependencies
- Proactively identify project risks, issues, and change requests; implement mitigation and escalation strategies
- Manage budgets, forecasts, resource allocations, and vendor contracts
- Promote continuous improvement through lessons learned, feedback loops, and project retrospectives
- Serve as the primary point of contact for client leadership and stakeholders across IT, business, and operations
Requirements
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in project management
- Significant focus on the utilities, energy, telecom, or oil & gas industries
- Experience using Agile and Waterfall methodologies in SaaS companies or with system integrators
- Proven track record of leading and delivering on complex international projects
- Experience in gathering customer requirements, prioritizing product backlogs, and developing budgets and project schedules
- Skilled in drafting and issuing comprehensive Statements of Work (SoW) to defined project scopes and deliverables
- Professional certifications (e.g., PMP, CSM, CSPO, ITIL, PRINCE, etc.)
- Strong understanding of utility operations, asset management, and regulatory compliance
- Demonstrated experience in team building and leadership
- Excellent project management skills, including proficiency in project planning, execution, and risk management
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to travel to client site (domestic and/or international) as required
