About the role

  • Technical Project Manager leading project delivery initiatives in utilities and energy sectors at Celerity. Managing cross-functional teams and ensuring successful project outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Define & manage project scope, objectives, deliverables and develop project plans, resource requirements, timelines
  • Manage cross-functional delivery teams including solution architects, developers, analysts, testers, and change managers
  • Apply structured methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall, or Hybrid) to manage timelines, risk, quality, and dependencies
  • Proactively identify project risks, issues, and change requests; implement mitigation and escalation strategies
  • Manage budgets, forecasts, resource allocations, and vendor contracts
  • Promote continuous improvement through lessons learned, feedback loops, and project retrospectives
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for client leadership and stakeholders across IT, business, and operations

Requirements

  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in project management
  • Significant focus on the utilities, energy, telecom, or oil & gas industries
  • Experience using Agile and Waterfall methodologies in SaaS companies or with system integrators
  • Proven track record of leading and delivering on complex international projects
  • Experience in gathering customer requirements, prioritizing product backlogs, and developing budgets and project schedules
  • Skilled in drafting and issuing comprehensive Statements of Work (SoW) to defined project scopes and deliverables
  • Professional certifications (e.g., PMP, CSM, CSPO, ITIL, PRINCE, etc.)
  • Strong understanding of utility operations, asset management, and regulatory compliance
  • Demonstrated experience in team building and leadership
  • Excellent project management skills, including proficiency in project planning, execution, and risk management
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to travel to client site (domestic and/or international) as required
