Technical Project Manager leading building automation project processes from initiation to completion at BuildlinX. Collaborating with clients and managing technical support for innovative solutions.
Responsibilities
End-to-end project leadership & coordination: You are the primary contact for clients, planners and contractors. You create execution plans, monitor resources, and keep project risks and reports under control — all digitally and with a high degree of structure.
Consulting, training & stakeholder management: You train project partners in using the BuildlinX solution and help reduce technical concerns during the sales process. As an "advocate for users" you ensure customer needs flow directly into the company.
Quality assurance & troubleshooting: During site inspections you identify structural issues in building services (TGA/GA) and initiate optimization measures. When emergencies arise, you take a leading role in crisis management, communicate in a de-escalating manner with stakeholders and deliver solutions.
Smart control & innovation support: You coordinate the installation of our retrofit solutions and digitally monitor site performance. In addition, you support product development by testing prototypes and alpha versions based on real-world use.
Requirements
Qualification: You hold a university degree (e.g., industrial engineering, building services engineering) or are a state-certified technician/master in a technical discipline.
Organizational skills: You are extremely structured and bring strong project management capabilities as well as interface competence between technical teams and management.
Experience: You are familiar with the building industry and understand how the different parties interact during building construction and renovation processes.
Personal qualities: You are conscientious and assertive, while also having the sensitivity to act in a de-escalating, calming manner with different stakeholders.
Communication: You have German at C2 level (near-native) and communicate confidently in both spoken and written form.
Nice to have: Relevant professional experience in managing building services (TGA) or building automation (GA) projects. Experience in direct customer contact and in maintaining client relationships beyond project completion is an advantage.
Benefits
Responsibility & team: As a startup we rely on flat hierarchies and genuine opportunities to shape the company. We work closely as a team — whether solving complex projects or sharing an after-work drink.
Meaningful impact: You make buildings measurably more efficient. With us you work on projects with real impact whose results you see on-site every week.
Travel across Northern Germany: Our construction sites are in Hamburg and the surrounding area. That means evenings at home instead of weeks of on-site deployments. With Hamburg charm and Hamburg weather (which you fortunately won’t notice much while inside buildings).
Health & mobility: We support your daily life and fitness. With a job ticket you can travel easily within the city and the EGYM Wellpass gives you access to over 6,000 sports and wellness facilities.
