About the role

  • IT Project Manager oversees planning and execution of IT projects at Saint Louis University. Collaborates with stakeholders and manages resources for successful project delivery.

Responsibilities

  • The IT Project Manager manages planning, execution, and oversight of information technology projects or programs
  • Works with sponsors and stakeholders from multiple constituencies to establish project goals and objectives
  • Identifies internal and/or vendor resource requirements and acquires appropriate resources
  • Coordinates technical and non-technical team members and third-party contractors to deliver projects according to plan
  • Develops project plans and communications documents including project charters and schedules
  • Actively manages project risk by establishing issue logs, risk registers and change logs
  • Oversees efforts of vendor project managers

Requirements

  • Associate's degree
  • Three or more years of relevant work experience
  • Experience leading projects with cross functional diverse teams (IT and stakeholders) including vendors (Onsite and remote)
  • Bachelor's degree (Preferred)
  • PMP Certification (Preferred)
