About the role

  • Provide hands-on support to Contract Managers and Accountable Executives to embed SMF principles, tools and processes into contract day-to-day management activities
  • Engage with internal and external stakeholders of different seniorities to raise awareness, support delivery and actively engage with the Contract Management Community of Practice
  • Brief contract managers on required training, providing support and guidance throughout the process
  • Monitor adoption and effectiveness of the SMF, identifying barriers to implementation and working with stakeholders within the wider business to resolve issues and refine approaches
  • Monitor and report on completion rates to relevant stakeholders, helping contract managers understand how the training related to their specific roles and responsibilities

Requirements

  • Minimum: Prior experience in contract and supplier management
  • Prior experience within the financial services or public sector
  • Essential: Strong communication skills, both written and oral
  • Good prioritisation skills to help balance a busy workload
  • Ability to articulate key details to relevant stakeholders
  • Proficient in articulating key details to relevant stakeholders across the business
