About the role

  • Lead a diverse team of SOC analysts to identify and respond to threats
  • Responsible for daily operations of the security operations team, including evaluating team member performances and providing technical expertise
  • Provide strategic direction and ensure customer satisfaction
  • Enforce organizational policies aligned with company strategic objectives and compliance requirements
  • Implement detailed operating procedures to ensure efficient and consistent execution of tasks
  • Deliver cybersecurity expertise to customers, drive automation and enhanced efficiency
  • Oversee monthly service reviews to ensure operational alignment and issue resolution
  • Assume responsibility for operational issues, including incident reports and security investigations
  • Participate in incident response and contribute to SOC expansion and integration of new products
  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science/Information Technology/Information Security or related experience
  • At least 3 years of experience in a Security Operations, or similar role OR 4+ years experience in a Security Operations, or similar role
  • Must be able to obtain background clearance as required by government customer
  • Legal authorization to work in the U.S. indefinitely is required
  • Employer work permit sponsorship is not available for this position
  • Experience guiding teams, fostering collaboration, achieving objectives, mentoring subordinates, and making critical decisions under pressure
  • Leadership experience (senior analyst, manager, etc.)
  • Demonstrated proficiency in Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR) tools, including Cortex XDR, Sentinel One, or Crowdstrike
  • Comprehensive understanding of information security, operating systems, applications, and networking fundamentals
  • Proficient technical understanding of modern network security, hardware, protocols, and standards
  • Ability to work independently and resolve complex technical challenges
  • Position is subject to CJIS fingerprint background check (stringent fingerprint background check)
