Responsibilities
Define the target ServiceNow architecture for ITSM/ITOM/ITBM (and other modules as needed) including data model, CMDB design, security model, tenancy, and scalability considerations.
Own migration strategy and plan: discovery, data mapping, ETL, testing, cutover, and rollback approaches.
Design and manage integrations (REST/SOAP, MID Server, LDAP/SSO, event ingestion, third-party tools) and advise on integration patterns and middleware.
Lead configuration and customization guidance: scoped app strategy, scripting standards (JavaScript), update set management, source control, CI/CD pipelines and release management.
Establish platform governance, development standards, coding conventions, and testing/QA processes.
Collaborate with product owners, service teams and senior stakeholders to prioritise requirements, run workshops, and translate outcomes into solutions.
Mentor delivery teams and contractors, review technical designs, and perform architecture risk and performance assessments.
Support vendor/partner selection and manage technical relationships where external delivery is used.
Ensure alignment with security, compliance and change-control requirements.
Requirements
Proven ServiceNow Solution Architect experience leading enterprise migrations or large-scale platform implementations.
Deep knowledge across ServiceNow modules (ITSM, CMDB/Discovery, ITOM, ITSM integrations); hands-on configuration and development experience.
Strong experience with data migration: discovery tools, data mapping, transformation, reconciliation and validation.
