About the role

  • Maintain and administer the ServiceNow CMDB, ensuring data accuracy, completeness, and compliance with governance standards
  • Partner with System Owners and Service Owners to resolve data gaps (i.e., missing, and invalid records)
  • Monitors data quality improvements
  • Support discovery processes, integrations, and data imports to populate and update the CMDB
  • Monitor CMDB health, identify data quality issues, and assist in remediation efforts
  • Collaborate with IT teams to ensure CI (Configuration Item) relationships are properly defined and maintained
  • Assist in developing reports, dashboards, and metrics related to CMDB health and usage
  • Document processes, procedures, and best practices for CMDB administration
  • Provide day-to-day operational support for ServiceNow CMDB-related requests and incidents

Requirements

  • 1–3+ years of experience with ServiceNow or other ITSM platforms
  • Basic understanding of ITIL processes, especially Configuration Management and Asset Management
  • Familiarity with ServiceNow Discovery, Service Mapping, or integration tools
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Experience with IT Asset Management (ITAM) or IT Operations Management (ITOM)
