About the role
- Deliver large complex digital automation projects, ensuring quality, scope, time and cost objectives are met
- Manage project teams operating on complex/multi-platform technical environments
- Coordinate documentation, design, development and testing of enhancements and new development projects
- Tailor project methodology to individual projects when needed (Agile, Staged, Waterfall)
- Prepare project budgets, attain approvals, monitor project financials and realise defined benefits
- Apply stakeholder management disciplines to exceed stakeholder expectations
- Provide project management services across a portfolio from initiation through to closure, including definition, planning, organising and technically leading and controlling project completion
- Ensure contracted projects are delivered to the highest quality standard within scope, budget and on time
Requirements
- Experienced professional Project Manager with extensive experience
- Immediate availability to commence in Auckland
- Experience in digital automation projects (bonus)
- Extensive experience working on large complex projects, preferably ERP, CRM or EDW
- Ability to build and lead collaborative project teams
- Broad and deep understanding of technical software development and implementation projects and related technology dependencies
- Strong communication skills with proven experience managing stakeholders at all levels
- Strong financial management practices with understanding of costs, utilisation and project revenue
- Experience working with Agile, Staged and Waterfall methodologies (essential)
- Must be a New Zealand citizen or hold legal work rights (visa) for New Zealand
- Able to clear an MOJ/Police Clearance
- Resilient and adaptable team player able to manage multiple mid to large-sized projects
