- Senior Operations Director responsible for Applied Water operations in EMEA region. Overseeing strategy, financials, and team leadership at Xylem.
Responsibilities
- Oversee efficient operations of facilities in the EU and Middle East/Africa region
- Develop operations footprint optimization strategy in EMEA
- Set strategy for Xylem’s Applied Water operation in the EMEA region
- Accountable for multi-site quality management system and increasing customer value
- Lead and promote safety culture at Xylem
- Ensure financial performance of all Applied Water facilities in EMEA region
- Align across integrated supply chain functions for high quality products
- Lead regular site operating reviews
- Identify and lead change initiatives for Value Creation in Applied Water
- Collaborate with colleagues in design and development of programs and processes
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Business, or related field required; advanced degree preferred.
- Minimum of 10 years manufacturing/production/integrated supply chain experience, with managerial responsibility for these functions.
- Fluent in English.
- Proven experience in leading multi-cultural operations environment
- Proven financial acumen to prepare, present, and effectively modify financial business case plan and capital appropriations.
- Excellent influencing, communication, and presentation skills.
- Proven utilization and understanding of manufacturing and process improvement processes including Lean Manufacturing, Voice of the Customer, and related expertise.
- Effective change agent and value-added perspective skills.
- Demonstrated strong cross-functional collaborative capabilities.
