About the role

  • Lead and manage financial due diligence engagements for buy- and sell-side transactions, serving as primary contact for the due diligence process
  • Analyze quality of earnings, working capital, forecasts, and key financial metrics of target clients
  • Identify risks and issues impacting deal structure and purchase agreements
  • Propose appropriate resolutions on a timely basis for critical M&A issues
  • Oversee preparation of financial due diligence reports and present findings to clients
  • Manage development of proposal documents and conduct presentations to acquire new clients
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships and identify business development opportunities
  • Collaborate cross-departmentally to promote TAS services and identify cross-selling opportunities
  • Mentor and develop TAS team members
  • Help develop the TAS practice framework and expand the service line

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration (required)
  • CPA (preferred)
  • 7+ years of public accounting experience, including 3+ years in financial audit or TAS (preferred)
  • Previous Due Diligence experience (preferred)
  • Strong knowledge of US GAAP and technical accounting areas
  • Proven ability to lead due diligence engagements, including quality of earnings, working capital, and financial analysis
  • Experience interacting with C-level executives and managing client relationships
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Demonstrated project management experience and strong analytical skills
  • Ability to travel as needed
