About the role

  • Define and execute in partnership with IT, the data architecture strategy for People Analytics, ensuring scalability, reliability, and performance.
  • Influence and co-design the HR data ecosystem, including relational and graph databases, to support current and future analytics and AI use cases.
  • Establish best practices for data modeling, integration, and storage, ensuring data is structured and consumable for AI and agentic solutions.
  • Develop and enforce robust data governance frameworks, including data quality, privacy, and compliance standards (GDPR, CCPA, etc.).
  • Define and manage security roles and access controls for sensitive HR data, with a focus on ethical use and readiness for generative and agentic AI.
  • Lead the definition and implementation of data security and ethics requirements for AI-driven solutions.
  • Partner with People Analytics Consultants and HR teams to deliver self-service analytics and actionable insights.
  • Enable and manage Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) and prompt engineering for effective AI deployment and accurate output generation.
  • Manage and mentor a team fostering a culture of innovation, continuous improvement, and ethical data stewardship.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (HR, IT, Finance, Legal) to align data initiatives with business priorities and ensure seamless integration.
  • Serve as a thought leader and advocate for data-driven decision-making and AI readiness across the People Analytics function.

Requirements

  • 8+ years in building analytics at scale and/or data engineering roles, with at least 3 years in a leadership capacity.
  • Proven experience in HR data domains and People Analytics preferred.
  • Demonstrated success in building scalable data architectures and leading data governance initiatives.
  • Expertise in data architecture, ETL pipelines, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Proficiency in SQL, Python, and data visualization tools (Power BI).
  • Experience with HRIS systems (SAP SuccessFactors) and related data structures.
  • Familiarity with graph databases and large-scale distributed systems.
  • Strong understanding of agentic and generative AI solutions, RAG development, and prompt engineering.
